Error: Customer is not defined for function PY – Table TPAKD

Root Cause: Partner determination is not set up for the customer master.

Solution: Setup Partner determination for customer Master with below configuration.

SPRO–> Sales and Distribution –> Master Data –>Business Partners –> Customers –>Customer Hierarchy –> Set Partner Determination for Hierarchy Categories –>Set Up partner determination for Customer Master

Now you need to assign required Partner functions for the customer account groups. Once this configuration is done, system will accept to give the partner functions during BP creation for the customers.
