Error:

On the 26.05.2025, only 3 PC available. Message No. M7181

Root Cause: The material stock on hand in the Plant and storage location is available but it is partially reserved for Sales Order or Outbound Delivery or Stock Transport Order etc.

Solution: Business needs to check any goods receipt in the near future and plan for the goods issue if the physical stock is also Zero.

If the Physical stock is available and system stock is ZERO means, user needs to use Physical Inventory Process to increase the stock. Few companies may use 202 movement type to increase the stock as per the alignment between MM and FI departments.

If above options are not possible like no physical stock more than stock on hand and no Goods receipts in the near future, business can check the reserved documents and manage the priority by cancelling Outbound delivery or STO. For Sales order, confirmation quantity can be changed with CO06- Back-order processing.
