Error during Goods Issue of a Material.

Deficit of SL Unrestricted-use 1 PC: Material Code Plant Storage Location

Message No. M7021

Root Cause: The material stock on hand in the Plant and storage location combination is ZERO or less than the issue quantity in the SAP system.

Example 1: System has ZERO stock, and you are trying to do GI of 1 PC.

Example 2: System has 3 PC of stock, and you are trying to do GI of 4 PC.

Solution: Business needs to check any goods receipt in the near future and plan for the goods issue if the physical stock is also Zero.

If the Physical stock is available and system stock is ZERO means, user needs to use Physical Inventory Process to increase the stock. Few companies may use 202 movement type to increase the stock as per the alignment between MM and FI departments.
